10 Valentine's Day Dresses to Make You Swoon

Do you love looking at Valentine's dresses? I do. The sea of red and pink, the romantic patterns, pretty fabrics, the hopefulness that comes along with a holiday celebrating love...

It isn't every year that I get a new dress for Valentine's Day, but it is one of my favorite holidays and my birthday falls the day before, so it can be a good excuse for something new and pretty. If you have a fun date night or even a gal-en-tine's event, these dresses would be stunning.

So without further adieu, here are the top Valentine's Day Dresses I'm loving this year:

1. Wide Cut Dress by H&M

This swing dress style will look good on just about anyone, and the material is lovely. Fancy but not too-fancy, perfect for just about any Valentine's Day occasion!

2. Halife Women's 3 4 sleeve Stripe Elastic Waist Casual Dress with Pocket from Amazon

I'm a sucker for stripes, and these pastel pink stripes are so pretty. This sweet dress (with pockets!) could be re-worn all winter and spring, and would even work as a church dress too.

3. Velvet If You Please, Wrap Dress in Hot Pink by Modcloth

Is this one a little bit Elle Woods? Yes. Does that just make me love it more? Also yes. This hot pink velvet is SO PRETTY, and this below the knee wrap dress style would be great on all of you taller ladies.

This more casual style is very pretty, and is definitely something you could re-wear any day with leggings underneath. I love the little mock neckline which gives the illusion of a turtleneck without the suffocation factor ;)

This pretty silhouette, the little shimmery dots, Madewell gets so many things right with this dress. I love the flirty sleeves and the shape of the waistband. This dress is just overall very pretty, and would be lovely for any Valentine's Day event.

This lovely floral maternity dress is so pretty. I love the 3/4 sleeves and the little ruffle at the bottom, and these colors go so well together. This would be great for a baby shower too, or just a special dress for a new-mom-to-be.

Want something flirty but not into the pink and red? This sweater dress has such a sweet ruffle collar detail, and the little bejeweled neck means you won't have to wear a necklace. This pretty off-white dress would also be great in cooler climates where you want something romantic but a bit on the warmer side.

I love this plus sized option! The sleeves and bow detail are so pretty, and the burgundy color is both seasonal and subtle.

This burgundy velvet dress is so pretty; it has that modern medieval vibe that is popular today too. I love the lines and the feminine ruffle edges. This dress would be super cute for a fancy dinner date!

Have to work on Valentine's Day? This office-appropriate dress would be a great choice. It's sweet shade of peachy-pink is holiday festive, but not so in-your-face pink that it would be obvious that you were dressing for anything except a day at work. This could go from office to date night easily, and the bow at the waistband lends a flattering feminine air.
