Fikabröd Box - My honest review + a coupon

Disclaimer: Fikabröd Box sent me a sample box for the purposes of this review

Since my husband is of Norwegian ancestry, I have always been fascinated with how Scandinavians spend the winter, cozying up with coffee and baked goods, candles and cozy books... something they call "hygge".

In trying to embrace this fantastic hygge style and chase away any winter blues, I learned about fika! According to this fantastic book from the library, fika is basically a break during the day in which you often drink coffee and eat cake. Fantastic, I love fika!

So when I saw that there was a Fikabröd Box that provided the special ingredients for the Scandinavian baked goods, AND a few adorable extras to add to your hygge style, I knew it was going to be a box I really enjoyed.

If you want the video version, is my unboxing and honest review as I discover each of the goodies inside this box:

If you'd rather read about my thoughts here, I'll lay them all out for you:

1. The products inside this box are adorable, special, and unique. There wasn't a single one that I disliked.

2. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ingredient labels had no preservatives or weird additives that I wouldn't want my family to eat. These were all foods that I would have chosen for my own family.

3. The Georgia Grinders peanut butter was absolutely delicious and now I need to find a local source for it.

4. I cannot wait to use the pearl sugar for Santa Lucia Day buns!

5. Becky is incredibly sweet, has great taste, and I love what she is doing. This box helps keep these Scandinavian traditions alive, and it is such a joy to receive one.

6. The price is a little high for a subscription box, but it also matches the quality of the items inside.

7. This box would make a really excellent gift for a friend, relative, or loved one, or as a splurge treat for yourself!
