10 Beauty Product Faves Spring 2020

This is not a sponsored post, they are just products that I like.

1. Essie nail polish

It pretty much goes without saying that Essie is excellent nail polish. I recently got the color Angori Cardi on a huge Amazon sale for like $3, and it is smooth and lovely as ever.

2. The Ordinary skincare products

I tried these out after a friend recommended them, and I am seeing slow but very good results! The products are good quality, and surprisingly inexpensive. I didn't know the names of half the things I'm trying, but I looked up the routine that would be right for my skin and it is going quite well. I researched the products later and it seems like this company has a really good grasp of the  science of skincare.

3. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation

This foundation came out when I was in middle school or high school, and I thought it was the most amazing product at the time. Since then, it has become less popular but still hung around, and recently I decided to try it again. It is so creamy and the perfect consistency and coverage level for me. It goes on super easily and without a mess, and it has become my go-to daily foundation.

4. Billie razor

After seeing so many positive reviews of the Billie razor (and despite being generally skeptical of subscriptions) I decided to give it a try. The Billie definitely lives up to the hype! It's been the best razor I've ever used, and I love that I don't have to remember to pick up replacement heads because they'll be sent to me automatically.

5.  Ahava Cactus & Pink Pepper Hand Cream

Once again, a product I was skeptical about. The sales practices of many dead-sea water products in malls are so off putting to me, but this Ahava hand cream is amazing. It leaves my hands super smooth and nourished, and the smell is amazing. Highly recommend.

6. Farah Contour Brush 218M

I'm not terribly into make-up brushes, I use them interchangeably and don't really notice or have favorites, except for this excellent contour brush. I use it for highlighter and contour, and the angle and size are perfect to get the product in just the right spot.

7. Trader Joe's French Orange Blossom & Honey Hand Soap

Sadly I haven't been to Trader Joe's recently, but this hand soap is my all time favorite. It smells SO good and unlike other good smelling soaps it does a really good job cleaning and leaves my hands feeling properly washed.

8. Tarte Setting Powder

I've tried multiple setting powders and sprays, but Tarte is my favorite. It works really well, goes on easily, and doesn't get all over the place.

9. Buxom Mascara

This is an oldie for me but a goodie. It is the mascara that I keep coming back to know matter how many others I try, because it goes on super smooth and is easy to apply. It doesn't take as many coats as other mascaras either. The one drawback is that it isn't waterproof or super long lasting, but if I know I am going to need that I just put one coat of a waterproof mascara on top and it stays great!

10. Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit Lipstick in Give Me Mocha

This lipstick is the perfect color on me. It doesn't last super long, maybe 2 hours or so, but that is fine for me for a $3 drug store lipstick and it is easy to apply & reapply as needed. This has become my go-to color!

That's the list! Do you have any recent favorites? I'd love to hear them!
